Behind the most popular Bollywood songs and movies was Saroj Khan. Her best-known relationship has been choreographer Madhuri Dixit for many songs including Ek Do Teen and Dhak Dhak Karne Laga. Madhuri wrote on her birthday last year., “Happy birthday to one of my favorite people @sarojkhanofficial ji. Our journey together has been amazing and I will always be proud of the legacy you have created. You are my Guru and will always hold a very special place in my heart.”

The choreographer has also gained many awards over the years for her work. With Devdas, Sringaram and Jab We Met she was awarded three national awards and eight Filmfare Awards.
