7 years of ‘Lootera’: Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha share special posts.

Deepika calls it as 'one of best performances' of Ranveer Singh.



Vikramaditya Motwane directorial Lootera has been released seven years ago, a romantic film based on author O. Henry’s 1907 short story The Last Leaf, in which Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, played leading roles. Lootera won hearts for the spirit, performances and beautiful music that Amit Trivedi composed when it was released in 2013. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics. Ranveer and Sonakshi have agreed today to share it with the fans of their films on the seven years of the release of Lootera.

Ranveer took his profile on Instagram and posted a number of posters made by Lootera fans. He shared the video with the backdrop of Lootera‘s theme music. Sonakshi also posted the same video on her Instagram page and was captioned as, “7 years @Motwane @ishikamohanmotwane @ranveersingh @vikrantmassey87 @itsamittrivedi”.

Ranveer shared another video with the backdrop of ‘Zinda’ from the film with his different look from Lootera. As soon as Ranveer posted his post he was all praised by his wifey Deepika Padukone and commented, “One of your best performances!”

While Sonakshi shared a picture collage of her look from the movie and wrote, “Pakhi 7 years… still not over you, never think I will be! Thank you @motwayne for giving her to me.”

The director also posted a special post on ‘Lootera’ for 7 years. He shared Sonakshi’s BTS video from the sets.

Sonakshi has won the Best Actor (Jury’s choice) – FFemale at Zee Cine Awards in 2014, For Lootera movie.

This was the third film of Ranveer after Baaja Baaraat and Ladies vs Bahl. Sonakshi, who debuted as well as Ranveer in 2010, had several releases before she starred in Lootera.

The ZEE5 original Ghoomketu movie starring the leading Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared screen space for a couple of minutes, Post Lootera, Ranveer and Sonakshi.
